The Long Term Care Problem
The need for long term care in your clients' lifetime
is not just a possibility, it is a probability.

Some 70% of couples age 65 or older can expect at least one spouse to need nursing or home health care at some point in their lifetime. The cost of this care may be the biggest threat to their wealth, costing on average from $115,000 to $250,000 or more, based on an average stay of 2 1/2 years.

Unfortunately, Medicare covers only a small percentage of long term care costs. As a matter of fact, the elderly and their families bear the costs of long term care over 30% of the time.
