After going through the accounting process for year one, we discover that if death occurs that year, the shrinkage to heirs is 14%. The 20th year, it's 34%.

As we can see, if the client plans to leave this asset to his children, the anticipated high rate of return is not as important as proper tax planning. The more the asset earns, the smaller percentage the heirs receive.
Now that we have him disappointed with his investment strategy, let's offer him an alternative.
